Hi there fellow traveler, my name is Eimar Thorne. I’m also an adventurer like yourself and this blog is to record my journey through Genshin impact.

I have to be honest, this is my second journey in Genshin. I started my first journey back in 2020. It was a bumpy ride as I had more than a year break in early 2022 midway through Inazuma’s archon quest. I resumed my journey in march it in March 2024 and have been rushing through the content in order to be ready for Natlan.

My main goal with this blog will be to relive the journey from the begining. I want to enjoy the quests again, may it be the Archon or world quest, as well as character stories and hangouts. This is why I will take my time to go through the content.

My second goal is to analyse the game in every aspect. The logic of game developers behind the gameplay designs and fighting mechanics, the visual art of the game (landscapes, character, creatures design), the lore of the world, and overall how each regions are distinct, yet connected in this world that has been in progress for the past 5 years.

In order to make it as close to the experience I’ve had when I started this game back in 2020, I want to lay some ground rules:

I will progress through the story and will advance only to another region once I’ve completed the main archon quest.
From the character I pull, or obtain through the story (Amber,Lisa,Kaeya for example), I will only be able to use them once I reach the region the character belongs to and the patch they were released on.
